On July 14, NRCM and NRCM Rising hosted the Brookie Awards Reception & Ceremony at O’Maine Studios in downtown Portland. More than 175 guests joined us to celebrate our awardees. Our audience included state lawmakers, business leaders, private foundation representatives, NRCM’s staff and board, and the friends, family, and mentors of our awardees. The awards ceremony featured inspiring speeches from our six award winners, powerful videos about their work, and a stirring performance by Maine’s-own Halcyon String Quartet. The ceremony was emceed by Maine State Senator Stacy Brenner, Senate Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee. Please enjoy these videos and pictures from the event.
